What is an Education Program on ADEL?
- An Education Program on ADEL is learners assigned education content. Each type of learner (registered user on ADEL) such as International-level athlete, National-level athlete, High Performance Coaches, Parents of Talented athletes, teachers etc., will have specific education assigned to them. This is done automatically when you enroll to ensure the right education is provided for you.
- An Education Program typically contains an eLearning course, a final quiz, a learner experience survey and possibly other resources that you can view to get more information.
- All elements of an Education Program must be completed before you can receive your certificate.
What is a course?
- A course is typically an eLearning course that is made up of modules on different topics. All modules within a course need to be completed.
- Sometimes a course will be an information resource, for example, the Athlete and Athlete Support Personnel Guide to the 2021 List, which is strongly recommended for you to complete to ensure your knowledge is up to date.
What is a module?
- A module is an individual piece of interactive learning typically on a specific topic, such as Values, the Anti-Doping System, Whereabouts Essentials, Understanding Testing as examples. Each module will have a series of lessons that you need to work through.
- Each module has its own start and finish meaning that you can undertake one module at a time rather than having to complete all modules in a course in one go. Even within a module you can stop at any time. When you come back to the module, it will direct you to the start of the lesson where you left off. Some of the shortest modules we have may take you 10 minutes and others may take 30 minutes.
- All modules in a course must be completed.
