In order to become a Power User (Administrator) on behalf of an Organization, an individual must:
- be authorized by the Organization,
- must have an existing account on ADEL, and
- must request to be upgraded to an administrative account via the ADEL Helpdesk.
We have developed a process to ensure that the identity of Power Users is validated, and that they receive training, before they are granted administrative rights.
Organizations that are granted a Power User account sign an agreement with WADA that includes obligations to protect personal information and only use it for anti-doping education purposes.
If the Organization is a Delegated Third Party (DTP), then the applicable Anti-Doping Organization (ADO) will be required to confirm to WADA that the DTP is authorized to carry out anti-doping education on behalf of the ADO in ADEL.
